Easy: The world is filled with people.  Difficult: 1) Assessing who you are. 2) Determining who will have access to your life to influence you.

 

Evil people hate the truth, refuse to change, and cause harm to others.

Foolish people argue over truth, refuse to change, and live for themselves.  (Twitter users)

Wise people want to know the truth, will change, and grow in Godliness.

 

ECCLESIASTES 4:1-6

V4 Evil person motivated by envy. Success is driven by jealousy. Get distance, give them little time and information as possible.

V5 Foolish people irresponsible, lazy, don’t work. Refuse to learn, The best way to deal with a fool is consequences.

V6  Wise people live life intentionally and purposefully - grow in Godliness. The best thing to do with a wise person is spend time with them, grow to be more Godly.

Wisdom doesn’t always come from age.Wisdom doesn’t always come from hardship. Wisdom doesn’t always come from wealth or poverty. Wisdom rarely comes from fame.

Wisdom comes from Scripture. Wisdom comes from Wise people. Wisdom comes from Watching fools. Wisdom comes from Self-reflection. Wisdom comes from Jesus

In this series, we seek meaning by looking at one of the most difficult books of the Bible to understand - Ecclesiastes. What we find is that a life spent in pursuit of pleasure, achievement, and control eventually leaves us empty.
