PSALM 9:1-2

THE 4 “I WILLS” OF DEVELOPING GRATITUDE

> I will give thanks

> I will recount

> I will be glad

> I will sing

IS YOUR LIST OF GRIEVANCES LONGER THAN YOUR LIST OF GRATITUDES?

COUNTING BLESSINGS BUILDS YOUR FAITH!

Today - what can I be thankful for today?

Help - where has God helped me?

Answers - how has God has answered a prayer?

New - what new blessing did I see this week?

Kind - who has been kind to me this week?

Speak – give all of those answers outloud!

PSALMS 9:3-8

GOD IS RULING OVER THE WORLD, MY LIFE, MY ENEMIES, AND MY CIRCUMSTANCES - I CAN REST IN HIS SOVEREIGN CONTROL.

PSALM 9:9-10

IN A BETRAYING AND HARSH WORLD, GOD IS MY SAFE AND SUFFICIENT SHELTER

PSALM 9:11-14

WHEN I REMEMBER ALL THE TIMES I HAVE PRAISED GOD IN THE PAST, I CAN’T HELP BUT REJOICE IN HIS SALVATION IN THE PRESENT!

PSALM 9:15-17

GOD WILL BALANCE THE BOOKS - THERE IS A DAY COMING WHEN ALL INJUSTICE WILL BE JUDGED.

PSALM 9:18-20

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ME; HE’S THE GOD WHO SEES - AND THAT STIRS MY GRATITUDE.
