- We are a people of grace, truth, and love (1 Peter 1:22)
Royal Priesthood?
- We are a palace temple or “spiritual house” (1 Peter 2:5)
- Interdependent, built upon the cornerstone, Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:4-5)
- We have priestly responsibilities: Worship, Know God’s Word, Care Takers of the Temple (1 Peter 2:5; 10)
Holy Nation?
- Consecrated: Set aside for a particular purpose (1 Peter 1:13-16)
- Our condition with each other reveals our position with God (1 Peter 2:21 & 24)
- We are marked by and pursing kingdom culture (1 Peter 2:10-11)
