The Grace of His Death

John 14:1-3

(1) His Grace was Intentional

• Jesus wasn’t taken to the cross, He went.

John 14:4-7

(2) His Grace Accomplishes

• The means to salvation is not a path or a process, it’s a Person.

“Jesus’ way would be the cross; He would be convicted by blatant liars; His body would soon lie lifeless in a tomb. Because He took that way, He is the way to God; because He did not contest the lies we can believe He is the truth; because He was willing to die He becomes the channel of resurrection – the life to us.”

The Grace of His Resurrection

John 14:12-17

(1) His Grace Empowers 

1. Us to participate in His Kingdom work (v. 12-14)

2. Us to obey His commandments (v. 15-17)
