When Loneliness Feels Overwhelming – Josh Duinker // Psalm 25

    When Loneliness Feels Overwhelming
    Psalm 25:16-21

Loneliness takes many forms. We can end up there for different reasons.

When we feel forgotten, Jesus reminds us we’re never forsaken.

4 promises we can hold onto when loneliness feels overwhelming:

    1. Loneliness is real, but Jesus has the final word.
    2. Loneliness magnifies our struggles, but God invites us to bring them to Him.
    3. God alone is our refuge and deliverer.
    4. Waiting on the Lord is not wasted time.
    1 Peter 5:7
    Isaiah 53:5

The problem isn't just loneliness around us, its emptiness within us.
Jesus entered into our loneliness so that we would never have to be truly lonely again.
